The goal of the Family Preservation, Reunification and Diversion Programs, operated out of the Uspiritus Bowling Green Community Based office, is to assist at-risk families by providing intensive, short-term, crisis interventions to address safety concerns and barriers that may result in children being placed out of their homes.
The array of services offered to adults and children in the Commonwealth have been greatly expanded and more people have access to services than ever before. We hope that this will create more stability and increase prevention, which will make for better long-term outcomes for kids and families.
Atherton High School Principal Tom Aberli never imagined that his visit to Uspiritus more than a year ago would result in a donation totaling nearly $3,000.
When Uspiritus was born just over a year ago, we outlined a clear path for our future – combine the best of Brooklawn Child & Family Services and Bellewood Home for Children to create a more efficient, more comprehensive care agency for thousands of Kentucky’s children and families.
